Sebastian Bischoff

Dr. Sebastian Bischoff is a Research Fellow in the Department of Contemporary History at Bielefeld University, where he leads the DFG-funded project The West German Right and the 'Sexual Revolution'. His research intersects conservative and far-right political movements with socio-cultural transformations, particularly focusing on historical memory practices in post-migrant and postcolonial societies.

• Education: Studied modern history, sociology, and philosophy at Heidelberg University, Humboldt University Berlin, and Free University Berlin.
• Research Themes: Analyzes the ideological responses of conservative and far-right groups to the sexual revolution in West Germany since the 1960s, and examines memory practices in migration societies through projects like Stories in Motion.
