Dr Sean Whittle is a Senior Lecturer in Catholic Education at St Mary's University, working part-time as a Religious Education teacher in a Catholic school. He is affiliated with the Centre for the Enhancement of Religious and Spiritual Learning (CERRL) and chairs the academic association AULRE.
