Sean Watson

Sean Watson is an Associate Professor and Associate Head of the Department of Health and Social Science at the University of the West of England (UWE). He oversees teams in Philosophy, Politics and International Relations, Public Health, and Environmental Health.

• Qualifications: BA (Hons), PhD from the University of Warwick

Research Interests: Dr. Watson specializes in metaphysical idealism, history of philosophy from ancient to contemporary European traditions, philosophy of mind, philosophy of mental health, and social theory. His recent collaborative book explores these themes in depth.

Teaching & Programs: He contributes to the BA (Hons) Philosophy, MA European Philosophy, and MA Education in Virtual Worlds curricula. His expertise also extends to interdisciplinary topics like emotion, affect, and embodiment.
