George Webster is a Lecturer in Philosophy at Keble College, University of Oxford, and Learning Development Officer at Worcester College. He holds a DPhil in Philosophy from Oxford (2023), MA in Continental Philosophy from Warwick (2015), and BA in Philosophy from Hull (2014). His research focuses on metaphysics, philosophy of science, post-Kantian European philosophy, Deleuze studies, and German idealism. He teaches tutorials in general philosophy, early modern philosophy, post-Kantian philosophy, and practical ethics at Oxford.
Recent publications include explorations of Deleuze's naturalism and Hegel's realism. He supervises students in his research areas and has previously taught logic and the history and philosophy of science. His work bridges continental and analytic traditions, emphasizing intersections between metaphysics and scientific inquiry.
