Sean McGraw

Sean McGraw is a Visiting Professor (part-time) in the Department of Political Science at Boston College. He specializes in Comparative Politics with a focus on Irish politics, political parties, and civil society. He holds a BA and MDiv from the University of Notre Dame, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a PhD from Harvard University.

His research examines Irish political parties, party dominance (e.g., Fianna Fáil), and education reform. He co-founded the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) at Notre Dame, fostering educational leadership in Ireland and globally. He collaborates with the Benedictine Community at Kylemore Abbey to support Irish-American student exchanges.
