Scott Rowan-Ferry

Scott Rowan-Ferry is a Lecturer at the University of Sunderland's School of Nursing and Health Sciences. He is a Health and Care Professions Council registered Biomedical Scientist with over seven years of NHS experience, including a role as a Transfusion Practitioner at Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospital Foundation Trust. His expertise spans blood science, particularly blood transfusion, and integrating simulated training into university education. He teaches on the BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science and BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Life Sciences) programs, serving as Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science with Integrated Foundation Year.
