Scott Mitchell

Scott Mitchell is a Senior Lecturer in Piano Accompaniment and Senior Staff Accompanist at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he is also a Fellow and teaches piano at the Junior Department. He holds a concurrent role as accompaniment staff at Napier University in Edinburgh. A founding member of the Cantilena Festival on Islay, he specializes in chamber music and collaborative performances.

His professional engagements include performances at prestigious venues like St. John’s Smith Square and Wigmore Hall in London, alongside collaborations with artists such as John Wallace, Michael Collins, and the Duke Quartet. He is a regular on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM.
