Scott Mahadeo

Dr Scott Mahadeo is a Senior Lecturer in Macroeconomics at the University of Portsmouth, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance. He serves as Director for Postgraduate Research in Economics and Finance and actively participates in the Centre for Blue Governance and Centre for Innovative and Sustainable Finance.

Recent scholarly work explores oil-market relationships, debt sustainability, and coastal risk perception. He contributes to Finance Research Letters and Journal of Environmental Management, analyzing monetary policy, nature-based solutions, and global uncertainty shocks.
