Scott M. Thompson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physiology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine. His research focuses on the biological basis of depression, particularly how chronic stress alters synaptic plasticity in cortico-mesolimbic reward circuits.
