Scott Frank, MD, MS, is an Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences and Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He previously directed the Master of Public Health Program and held roles as Director of Health for Shaker Heights, Ohio. His research focuses on public health systems, behavior change, tobacco control, and clinical assessment of stress. Frank has authored over 40 publications and contributed to initiatives addressing structural racism in healthcare and adolescent health surveillance through the Youth Risk Behavior Survey.
- Education: MD from University of Michigan (1979), Family Medicine Residency (1982), Academic Medicine Fellowship (1984), and Addiction Medicine Fellowship (1993).
Research interests span public health services, social justice in healthcare, and spirituality in medical practice.
