Dr. Scott Bassett serves as the Associate Dean for the College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, overseeing research functions, proposal development, and technological advancement. He holds a D.Des. in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Harvard University, an M.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Ecology from Utah State University, and a B.S. in Geography and Anthropology with a Computer Science minor from Utah State University. His research focuses on environmental planning, urban growth modeling, spatial modeling, and GIS applications in conservation biology.
