Saul Karnovsky is a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University's School of Education, part of the Faculty of Humanities. He holds a PhD, B.A. (Hons), and Graduate Diploma in Education. His research focuses on teacher emotions, post-structural theory (particularly Foucault), and professional ethics in education, examining how emotions emerge within neo-liberal schooling contexts.
Education: B.A. (Hons), Grad. Dip. Ed., PhD.
Research Interests: Teacher emotions, pre-service teacher development, Foucaultian analysis, professional ethics, classroom management, and positive pedagogy. His work critiques neo-liberal educational structures and advocates for emotionally authentic teaching practices.
