Tamara Reads is an Associate Lecturer in Literacy and Literature Education at Curtin University's School of Education, part of the Faculty of Humanities. She is also pursuing a PhD focusing on the impact of Premier's Reading Challenge programs on student engagement and literacy achievement. Her research emphasizes reading for pleasure, inclusive representation in literature, and school library roles in fostering literacy.
