Prof. Dr. Saskia Kraft-Bermuth is a Professor at the TH Mittelhessen, affiliated with the Institute of Medical Physics and Radiation Protection (IMPS). Her work focuses on detector development, atomic and nuclear physics, and radiation protection. She serves as Vice Dean of the MNI Department, a Member of the Presidential Research Committee, and Deputy Ombudsman for Good Scientific Practice at TH Mittelhessen.
- Research Areas: Development of microcalorimeters for heavy ions and X-rays, high-precision X-ray spectroscopy, energy determination of heavy ions, and radon investigations.
- Teaching: Basic physics lectures, radiation protection measurement technology, radiation biology, and an online bridging course in physics (www.physik-brueckenkurs.de).
