Sari Gilbert is Professor and Associate Chair of Interactive Design and Game Development at Savannah College of Art and Design. With an M.F.A. in Motion Media Design from SCAD and M.A. from Columbia University, she brings extensive industry experience from Disney Online and technology startups.
Her research focuses on gamified systems design, UX/UI methodologies, interactive storytelling, and educational game development. Professor Gilbert has designed commercial games including Fujian Trader and Forager, and authored Designing Gamified Systems.
She holds patents for internet communication technologies and exhibits interactive installations at venues including Telfair Museums Pulse Festival. Professor Gilbert lectures internationally on game design entrepreneurship and historical game development.
