Dr. Sarah-jo Lee is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Chester with extensive practice experience in child protection and domestic violence intervention. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from the University of Nottingham and an MA in Social Work from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Her research agenda focuses on:
- Feminist analysis of child-to-mother violence
- Service evaluations for domestic abuse survivors
- Support systems for women with no recourse to public funds
- Foster care for unaccompanied refugee minors
- Policy implementation in social services
