Sarah M. Misemer is a Professor in the Department of Hispanic Studies at Texas A&M University and serves as Associate Director of Undergraduate Research in the LAUNCH office. Her research focuses on contemporary Uruguayan and Argentine theater, performance, and literature, with a particular interest in cultural memory, national identity, and socio-political representation.
Her scholarly work includes monographs such as Secular Saints (2008), Moving Forward, Looking Back (2010), and Theatrical Topographies (2017), as well as co-editing The Trial That Never Ends (2017). She has published widely in journals like Latin American Theatre Review and South Central Review.
