Sarah Elwood

Sarah Elwood is Professor and Chair of Geography at the University of Washington with affiliations in the West Coast Poverty Center, Center for Studies in Demography and Ecology, and Certificate in Public Scholarship. She co-directs the Relational Poverty Network (RPN), developing transnational frameworks for poverty research.

Research examines:

• Creative activism around homelessness
• Feminist and critical race perspectives in digital geographies
• Visual methodologies for poverty politics
• Community-engaged mapping practices
