Sarah Askin

Sarah Askin is a Lecturer in Social Work and course leader for the BA(Hons) Social Work course at Nottingham Trent University's School of Social Sciences. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate modules such as Preparing for Professional Practice and Law and Social Policy, and also contributes to the FdA Working with Children, Young People and Families program.

Before joining NTU in February 2020, Sarah worked as a Social Worker and Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) in Nottingham. Her practice interests include adult learning disability and mental health, while her research focuses on interprofessional learning in social work education and the internationalisation of social work curricula.
