Alan Marshall

Alan V Marshall is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Sheffield Hallam University's Department of Social Work and Social Care and Community Studies, within the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences. He specializes in mental health and law, teaching on Continuous Professional Development (CPD) postgraduate courses, and holds qualifications as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), Practice Educator, and social worker.

Teaching Roles:

• Course Leader for the PG Cert Approved Mental Health Professional course
• Teaches modules including Best Interests Assessor, Foundations in Specialist Mental Health Practice, AMHP Practice, and Mental Health Law and Policy
