Sara Jamieson

Sara Jamieson is an Associate Teaching Professor at the Department of Communication, University of Colorado Boulder. With a career spanning over a decade since completing her graduate studies in 2009, she has taught anthropology at multiple Colorado universities. Since 2012, she has been a core member of the CommRAP faculty in Buckingham Hall, where she delivers courses in Cultural Anthropology and Women & Gender Studies, focusing on multiculturalism, cultural rights, and identity dynamics.

Her research explores intersections of gender, class, race, and ethnic identity through ethnographic lenses. She maintains office hours Monday and Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. in BUCK S120, and by appointment.
