J Calder

J Calder is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Colorado Boulder and Affiliate Faculty in the Departments of Anthropology, Ethnic Studies, Women & Gender Studies, and LGBTQ Studies. They explore the intersection of sociolinguistic variation and linguistic anthropology, focusing on marginalized identities in queer/trans and BIPOC communities through sociophonetic and ethnographic methods.
