Sara Horrell

Professor Sara Horrell is a Professor of Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in labour market dynamics, household structure, and standards of living during the British Industrial Revolution. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Bath, M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on women and children’s work, wages, and welfare in historical contexts, particularly in Britain from 1280 to 1860.
