Sandra Seifert

Sandra Seifert is a Professor in Mathematics at the Florida SouthWestern State College, affiliated with the School of Pure and Applied Sciences. She has been employed at FSW since July 2009.

Her research and teaching interests span Mathematics, Computer Science, and Educational Technology, with a focus on integrating technology into mathematical instruction and leadership in educational environments. Prior to her role at FSW, she worked as a system engineer and computer programmer in the consulting barcoding industries for 15 years and served as an Adjunct Mathematics Professor at Broward College for a decade.

Sandra has received multiple teaching accolades, including being named Hendry Glades Faculty of the Year in 2012, 2017, and 2018, as well as the 2017 NISOD Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching & Instruction. She actively contributes to academic service as an advisor for Phi Theta Kappa and as Faculty Coordinator for CTLE (Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence).
