Sandra Moon

Sandra Moon is an Associate Professor of Voice at the Louisiana State University School of Music, where she teaches and directs. A renowned American soprano, she has performed extensively in Europe and the U.S., including engagements at the Metropolitan Opera and collaborations with conductors like James Levine and Eve Queler.

Professional Engagements

• Led roles at Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe (1992–1997): Mimi, Liu, Manon, Donna Anna, Adina, Fiordiligi, Maria Stuarda.
• Long-term engagement at Munich's Gärtnerplatz Theater (1997–2012): Violetta, Butterfly, Giovanna d'Arco, Amalia, Martha, Agathe, Alice Ford.
• Metropolitan Opera debut as Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos, with roles in Giulio Cesare, Parsifal, and Arabella.
