Sandra Beysolow

Sandra Beysolow, Ph.D., PA-C, DFAAPA, is an Associate Professor in the Physician Assistant Program at St. John's University within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Postsecondary and Adult Education and has over four decades of clinical and educational experience. Her clinical career spanned general surgery, critical care, primary care, pediatrics, and occupational health, with consistent NCCPA PA-C certification since 1983.

Dr. Beysolow's teaching focuses on PA program courses, including clinical medicine, ethics, and diagnostics. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants. In 2014, she received the DFAAPA distinction for exemplary service to healthcare advancement and community dedication.

Her research emphasizes interprofessional communication and professionalism in healthcare education. Courses taught include PAE 101-208 and PAE 311, reflecting her expertise in clinical competencies and medical diagnostics. Publications include a textbook on interprofessional strategies for medical students and a dissertation on student-faculty perceptions of professionalism.
