Sandhya Ganapathy

Sandhya Ganapathy, Ph.D., is Associate Professor and Chair of the Global Studies Department at St. Lawrence University. She holds a doctorate in Cultural Anthropology from Temple University and teaches interdisciplinary courses on societal challenges.

Research Focus: Her work centers on cultural anthropology and global systems, with emphasis on:

• Race, identity, and cultural dynamics
• Environmental justice across local/global scales
• Health equity and social justice frameworks
• Qualitative research methodologies
