Samuel da Rocha Lopes is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova IMS) and a Senior Economist at the European Banking Authority (EBA-UE, Paris). He coordinates EU projects and represents the EBA in key institutions, including the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Scientific Research Group, the European Commission Insolvency Regimes Discussion Group, and Basel III implementation initiatives.
