Aurea MARQUES is a Visiting Professor at the European Economic Studies Department of the College of Europe (Bruges campus). She holds a Master in Finance and is finalizing her PhD in Maths Applied to Economics from the University of Lisbon. Her professional career spans over 18 years in financial regulation and policy, with key roles at the Banco de Portugal (2005-2014) and the European Central Bank (ECB) since 2014.
