Samuel Tromans

Samuel Tromans is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Leicester and Honorary Consultant in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. He serves as Academic Secretary of the Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Special Interest Group and Executive Committee Member of the Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability Faculty at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Research interests focus on psychiatric epidemiology, autism spectrum disorders, and intellectual (learning) disabilities. His work examines mental health service provision, diagnostic frameworks, and healthcare outcomes for neurodiverse populations.
