Mohammed Al-Uzri

Professor Mohammed Al-Uzri holds an Honorary Chair in Psychiatry at the University of Leicester's Department of Population Health Sciences. He serves as a Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in severe mental illness and cognition in psychosis. Additionally, he is the Associate Medical Director at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, focusing on leadership and medical workforce development, and the Presidential Lead for International Affairs at the Royal College of Psychiatrists with interests in Global Mental Health.

His research explores the intersection of clinical psychiatry and public health, particularly in psychosis-related cognitive mechanisms and international mental health frameworks.
