Samuel R. Lucas

Samuel R. Lucas is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Faculty Affiliate at the Institute for Research on Poverty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on social stratification, sociology of education, research methods, and statistics. He has advised numerous graduate students and contributed to significant academic works such as Tracking Inequality: Stratification and Mobility in American High Schools and Inequality by Design: Cracking the Bell Curve Myth.
