Samuel R. Galloway is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Purchase College, State University of New York (SUNY). He holds a BA from Purchase College, MA and PhD from the University of Chicago. His work bridges political theory, queer studies, and critical theory, focusing on democracy, sovereignty, and solidarity in contemporary and canonical thought. Current research includes a book project, Cruising Politics, analyzing 21st-century political movements like Black Lives Matter through queer critical theory.
