Dr. Samuel Manickam is an Associate Professor specializing in 20th-21st century Latin American narrative at the University of North Texas. His research focuses on Mexican women writers and science fiction.
His scholarly work examines gender representation in speculative fiction, cultural hybridity in Mexican literature, and narrative innovations by contemporary Latin American authors.
