Samuel Elliot

Samuel Elliot serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Trombone at the University of Utah while holding the position of Associate Principal/2nd Trombone with the Utah Symphony since 2015. His academic role focuses on private instruction within the university's music program.

Elliot earned his Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Paul Welcomer (San Francisco Symphony's second trombone), following foundational studies at the University of British Columbia with Greg Cox (Vancouver Symphony) and advanced training at the University of Washington with Stephen Fissel and Ko-Ichiro Yamamoto (Seattle Symphony principal/bass trombonists).
