Sammy Ying

Dr. Sammy Ying is a Senior Lecturer in the Newcastle Business School (Accounting and Finance) at the University of Newcastle. She holds a PhD in International Accounting from Macquarie University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) and Master of Commerce. Her research focuses on international accounting, auditing, and corporate governance, with an emphasis on ethical decision-making, professional judgment, and sustainability reporting in emerging markets. She has published in top journals such as Journal of Business Ethics and serves on editorial boards of Advances in Accounting and Journal of Business Research.
