Samantha Dodda

Samantha Dodda is an Assistant Professor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, where she serves as a clinical attending and instructor. She holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from ICO and completed her residency in Primary and Comprehensive Care at Indiana University, specializing in anterior segment disease management.

Her clinical research focuses on ocular surface disorders, particularly dry eye syndrome and contact lens-related complications. Recent publications investigate corneal changes during contact lens wear using advanced imaging techniques.

She received the Clinical Consultant of the Year award from Indiana University (2021) and multiple scholarships during her training. Current practice emphasizes co-management of surgical cases and ocular emergency services.
