Samah Rafiq is a Lecturer in International Relations Theory in the Department of War Studies at King's College London. Her research examines borders, migration, and global mobility regimes through postcolonial and critical security lenses, with regional focus on South Asia.
Current projects investigate how public-private actors intersect in mobility control, reshaping concepts of sovereignty and security. She holds a PhD in International Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has policy experience in Indian migration governance.
