Samadia Sadouni

Samadia Sadouni is a Professor of Political Science at Sciences Po Lyon, affiliated with the Triangle Research Center (UMR 5206). Her HDR (2020) focuses on transnational religious dynamics in minority contexts, particularly Islam in South Africa. She holds dual expertise in political sociology of religion and transnational studies, with a focus on migration, climate change, and religious actors' roles in global governance.

Her research spans South Africa, India, and Kenya, analyzing religious transnationalism, diaspora integration, and interfaith climate advocacy.
