Sam Hopkins is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of the Biosciences Foundation Year Programme at the University of Surrey's School of Biosciences within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and an MA in Education, alongside a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Her roles include Academic Integrity Officer and Co-Chair of the University's Women's Network.
