Sarah Clements is a Senior Lecturer in Children & Young People's Nursing at the University of Surrey's School of Health Sciences. A Registered Children's Nurse since 2002, her clinical background includes roles at Birmingham Children's Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital, specializing in paediatric respiratory conditions like Cystic Fibrosis and Asthma. She developed regional clinical pathways for Acute Asthma management and has extensive experience in practice education and mentoring.
Her research focuses on paediatric nursing, respiratory care, and clinical education methodologies. As Programme Director for Nursing, she leads curriculum development and serves as Disability Lead for the School of Health Sciences, providing student support and chairing the Purple Network for staff with disabilities.
