Sam Cooper is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath, affiliated with the Centre for Sustainable Energy Systems (SES), Centre for Climate Adaptation & Environment Research (CAER), and the Institute of Sustainability and Climate Change. His research focuses on optimizing decarbonization technologies and assessing their environmental impacts across energy, industrial, and agro-food sectors. He utilizes tools like life cycle assessment (LCA), input-output analysis (IOA), and energy/exergy analysis.
Education: PhD in Thermodynamic Analysis of Air Source Heat Pumps (2013) supervised by Prof. McManus and Prof. Hammond at the University of Bath.
