Saloni Dev is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on global mental health, social drivers of mental illness, and implementation science. She holds a BA from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (India, 2014), an MA in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Columbia University (2017), and a PhD in Health Sciences from Northeastern University (2021).
Dr. Dev’s work emphasizes culturally responsive mental health interventions, particularly in low-resource settings. Her recent studies include analyses of task-sharing models in India and Latin America, spatial stigma impacts in urban environments, and the role of social capital in mental health outcomes.
