Professor Sally Randles holds the Chair in Sustainability and Innovation at Manchester Metropolitan University's Faculty of Business and Law. She serves as Faculty Lead on Sustainability and convenes the Sustainable and Ethical Enterprise Group (SEEG). She developed the interdisciplinary MSc in Sustainability, Technology and Innovation Management and maintains Associate Fellow roles at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research and Arizona State University's Centre for Organisations Research and Design.
Her research explores sustainability and responsible innovation through systems and organisational lenses, with a PhD in urban geography and political economy comparing Manchester and Lyon. She has led multiple EC projects including H2020 grants: SMART-Maps, JERRI and RES-AGorA.
Awards include:
- Donald Gordon Fellowship (University of Cape Town)
- Affiliated Fellow, CORD (ASU)
She contributes to academic governance as former Scientist in Charge for the FP7 Marie Curie ITN 'Innovation for Society' and board member of the Society for the Study of Nanoscience and Emergent Technologies.
