Sakif Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Orfalea College of Business, California Polytechnic State University. His research spans empirical corporate finance, household finance, banking, fintech, and experimental finance. Dr. Rahman earned his Ph.D. in Finance and a Master of Science in Business Administration – Applied Economics from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business, alongside dual undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics with Honors.
