Sakellariou George

George Sakellariou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He leads the Sakellariou Polymer Group, focusing on polymer synthesis, characterization, and applications in energy storage and biomedical fields. His research involves collaborations with institutions like the University of Heidelberg and involves students in projects on solid polymer electrolytes, star copolymers, and biomedical nanoparticles.

He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including Polymer Science, Polymer Characterization, and Polymer Synthesis. His lab is located at Zografou Campus, with a focus on advanced techniques like ATRP and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.
