Saige Walton is a Senior Lecturer in Screen Studies and Associate Director of the Creative People, Products and Places (CP3) research centre at UniSA Creative. She holds a dual role as Research Degree Coordinator. Her work bridges film studies, visual culture, and phenomenology, focusing on screen aesthetics, embodiment, and global art cinemas. Walton’s research explores film-philosophical frameworks, horror studies, and experimental film, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of cinema and sensory experience. Her monograph Cinema's Baroque Flesh (2016) established her as a leading voice in embodied film theory.
