Dr. Sahdia Parveen is an Associate Professor at the University of Bradford's Centre for Applied Dementia Studies within the Faculty of Health Studies. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Neuropsychology from the University of Wales, Bangor (2006), MSc in Clinical Psychology, and PhD in Health Psychology. Her research focuses on dementia diversity, family carers, and implementation science, with a particular emphasis on minority ethnic communities. She leads the Caregiving HOPE study as Chief Investigator and collaborates on projects like Dementia Detectives. Sahdia has received £225k in Alzheimer's Society funding and engagement awards.
