Safa Hamed

Safa Hamed is a Lecturer in Mathematics at Lake Forest College, affiliated with the Math and Computer Science department. She holds an MS in Mathematics from Loyola University Chicago, an MA in Math Education from DePaul University, and a BS in Mathematics (magna cum laude) from Loyola University Chicago. Her expertise spans mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematics education.

Research interests focus on innovative teaching methods and applied mathematical problem-solving. Notable works include co-authoring Arithmetic Honors.
