Sabine Siesling is Professor of 'Outcomes Research and Personalized cancer care' at the University of Twente's Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS), specifically within the Health Technology & Services Research (BMS-TPS-HTSR) group. She concurrently serves as a senior researcher at the Netherlands Comprehensive Cancer Organisation (IKNL) and holds leadership positions including board membership in the National Breast Cancer Working Group (NABON), NABON Breast Cancer Audit and PROMS sections, and the European Initiative on Breast Cancer Care-Quality Assurance Development group.
Her research centers on evaluating interventions—such as care pathways and new technology implementations—on cancer care quality, organization, and patient outcomes. She develops prediction models using Netherlands Cancer Registry data to personalize cancer care and follow-up protocols, with strong emphasis on breast cancer epidemiology and health services optimization. Siesling leads the University of Twente's Women's Health program and is affiliated with the TechMed Centre.
